Dr. Miguel Saucedo is a proud native of Laredo, Texas, who leads Medpoint Urgent Care with a passion for compassionate, family-style healthcare. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors, as well as his Master’s degree in Nursing from Texas A&M International University, and completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Texas Health Science Center–San Antonio.
As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Saucedo has been providing urgent care, family medicine, and internal medicine services since 2010. He focuses on fast, reliable, and affordable healthcare for patients of all ages, right here in Laredo.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Saucedo serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). He teaches a broad range of graduate and undergraduate courses including Advanced Health Assessment, Advanced Pathophysiology, Advanced Pharmacology, and Population Health, at TAMIU.
With extensive experience as both an educator and practitioner, Dr. Saucedo bridges academic excellence and real-world clinical care. His dual roles reinforce Medpoint Urgent Care’s philosophy: treating every patient like family and providing care that truly makes a difference.
