Raul Lozano is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He has over 15 years of healthcare experience in the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room settings. He completed his education at Texas A&M International University, earning both a Bachelor’s and a Master of Science in Nursing.

In 2014, Mr. Lozano had the opportunity to explore a different career path and became a U.S. Border Patrol Agent, which is currently his full-time job. Aside from having his regular duties as a Border Patrol Agent and as an EMT, for the last 5 years, he has been able to serve as an EMT Instructor for the U.S. Border Patrol EMT program. During this time, he has successfully taught and mentored a diverse group of EMT students, helping them develop their clinical skills and gain confidence in their abilities to provide life saving skills. Currently he is the U.S. Border Patrol EMS Education Coordinator for the Laredo Sector. Mr. Lozano is deeply passionate about educating the next generation of healthcare professionals and is dedicated to helping them reach their goals.

Mr. Lozano has received multiple meritorious achievement medals and a commendation medal award for life-saving rescues in the field.

Over his 15-year nursing career, he has learned the importance of embracing new knowledge and taking risks, knowing there is always more to learn.
